General questions
Computer Heiler has more than 30 years of experience in the computer industry. For over three decades, private individuals and businesses in the Kaiserslautern area have been supported with technical problems – with suitable solutions at sensible prices.
Computer Heiler operates within a 50 km radius of Kaiserslautern (Rhineland-Palatinate). This includes towns such as Kaiserslautern, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Pirmasens, Zweibrücken, Landau, Rockenhausen and Kusel. Remote support is available throughout Germany.
Computer Heiler supports all common operating systems: Windows (all versions from XP onwards), macOS (Apple), Linux as well as Android and iOS for mobile devices. If required, a complete reinstallation of the operating system can also be carried out.

Remote support
Remote support costs 40 euros per hour. The time spent is billed to the minute – there is no minimum duration and no hidden basic fees. You pay only for work actually carried out.
With remote support you connect to our technician over a secure, encrypted remote desktop connection. You can always see what is happening on your screen and can end the connection at the push of a button at any time. All that is needed is an internet connection. After the session, the connection software is completely removed.
Yes. An encrypted connection is used. Personal data, passwords and banking details are not accessed. Computer Heiler is subject to the German implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can find further information in our privacy policy.
Remote support can handle tasks including: system analysis and clean-up, software installation and updates, setting up data backups, virus and malware removal, setting up programs, configuring e-mail and browsers, as well as general computer questions and training. Anything requiring physical presence (e.g. hardware replacement) has to be done on site.
On-site service
The on-site service costs 70 euros per hour plus a travel flat rate. The travel flat rates at a glance:
- KL city area: 20 euros
- Up to 25 km distance: 25 euros
- 25 to 50 km distance: 30 euros
A maintenance contract starts from 500 euros per month and covers regular system analyses, clean-ups, software updates, backup setup, virus removal, operating system reinstallations and hardware replacement. Maintenance contracts are available in limited numbers – on request by e-mail.
Data recovery
Yes. Computer Heiler offers professional data recovery for Windows, iOS, Android and SQL/MySQL databases. A one-off, non-refundable preliminary analysis fee of 100 euros applies, which is credited against the total price. The hourly rate is 150 euros. Important: do not switch a faulty hard drive on again – every further start-up attempt can reduce the chances of recovery.
Computer Heiler deals with, among other things: accidentally deleted files, formatted drives, mechanically defective hard drives (HDD), failed SSDs, data loss after a virus infection or ransomware attack, corrupted databases (SQL/MySQL) and data from Android and iOS devices. The chances of success depend on the type of damage and the condition of the storage medium.
Artificial intelligence & AI consulting
AI prompt engineering means developing tailored input texts (prompts) for AI systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, Llama or Bing. A well-formulated prompt determines the quality and usefulness of the AI output. Computer Heiler creates professional prompts for creative writing, personal assistants, knowledge queries and business applications – at an hourly rate of 20 euros.
AI image generation refers to the creation of images by artificial intelligence, for example with FLUX, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E or Midjourney. Computer Heiler helps create optimised prompts for individual designs, artistic visualisations and graphics projects – at an hourly rate of 20 euros.
Classic AI systems are trained for specific tasks, e.g. image recognition or fraud detection. Large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-4, Claude or Llama are general-purpose systems that can understand and generate natural language.
